Lucentrix Core Quick Start/Setup Guide
Welcome to Lucentrix. This is a quick start guide for the Lucentrix Core model.
Before powering your new system up, please ensure that all connectors are securely plugged in:
– Connect the LED Output/s
– Ensure LED Output number is correct (1 to 1, 2 to 2)
– Connect all power injection lines
– Connect the main power input line (where the control box is)
Once everything is plugged in, you can now turn the power supply on.
Connect to the devices access point (may take up to 5 minutes to initialise)
Lucentrix_Core_AP (or similar)
http://4.3.2.1
FOR WIFI
Input your Wifi SSID and Password in the designated boxes and select save.
FOR ETHERNET
Ensure the Ethernet selection at the bottom is on the Lucentrix Core model. Click save.
It is also highly recommended to input an IP address either in the LucentrixOS or using your router and the MAC address.
After the device is connected to the network, the local access point will automatically close. You can then connect to the device on your network by going to the IP address or to http://lucentrix.local (if mDNS is configured in your LucentrixOS).
Configure Outputs
Go to Config > LED Preferences
Set Pixel Type to your pixel (WS2815…)
Set Pixel Count as per the number of pixels assigned to each output.
Select Save
The device has now stored that information and you the LED’s should be orange.
Select a local effect
Go to the Effects tab along the bottom of the UI.
Select an Effect.
You can adjust the colour by going back to the Colours tab and selecting a Palette and/or by adjusting the individual effect colours (the circles below the colour wheel)
You can also adjust the effect parameters through the sliders at the bottom of the effects panel.
DMX Sync Setup
Navigate to Config > Sync Interfaces
Scroll down to Network DMX Setup
Here you can select from ArtNet and sACN (E1.31).
You can identify the DMX universe and start address here.
On this page is also where the Local Sync Matrix is (at the top of the page) for Send and Recieve.
Saving Presets
Set the brightness and effect exactly how you want it.
Then navigate to the Presets page.
Select + Preset
The preset can then be saved. The number that corresponds with the preset is what you can trigger from the network so keep this in mind with more advanced systems.
You can also setup Playlists here, by clicking + Playlist and selecting what Presets you want in the playlist.
Your device is now setup and ready to go!
The Lucentrix Core will now automatically save all of this data and reconnect to the network when power cycled.
If you have any issues during setup, feel free to contact us.
